Rhino Medica Landing Page & Funnel Redesign

Rhino Medica is a Berlin-managed rhinoplasty brand offering all-inclusive surgical packages for European patients. I redesigned their landing page and patient intake funnel from first impression to photo submission to reduce drop-off, establish clinical trust, and deliver standardized photos the medical team could act on immediately.

research

A rhinoplasty clinic offering all-inclusive surgery packages for European patients was watching its conversion rate drop week after week. Microsoft Clarity showed the reason: users weren't scrolling. The CTA was invisible to most visitors before they left. But the data pointed to something deeper than scroll depth.

key insights

The existing design looked cosmetic. Warm photography, lifestyle aesthetics, soft visual language. For a brand asking patients to fly to Istanbul for surgery, that mismatch was enough to erode trust before a single line of copy was read. Cosmetic aesthetics create cosmetic trust. Rhinoplasty requires medical trust.

The Problem

Conversion rate declining and costing real money

Rhino Medica offers all-inclusive rhinoplasty packages for European patients: flights, airport pickup, surgery, accommodation all from Istanbul, managed out of Berlin. Every lost lead meant absorbed ad spend with nothing to show for it.

"Cosmetic aesthetics create cosmetic trust. Rhinoplasty requires medical trust."

Microsoft Clarity heatmaps revealed users weren't scrolling to the CTA. But the deeper issue: the design looked like a cosmetics brand warm photography, soft shadows, styled visuals. It looked like it was selling foundation and lip gloss, not evaluating a surgical candidate. For patients deciding whether to fly abroad for surgery, that mismatch was enough to close the tab.

What Changed

  • Hero section restructured to surface two primary CTAs immediately no scrolling required

  • Doctor-patient video integrated into the hero to establish clinical context at first glance

  • Color palette shifted from warm/lifestyle to clinical precise, clean, credible

  • Photo upload funnel redesigned with neutral photography, cleaner layout, and instructional clarity

  • Same user flow. Completely different signal.

The Result

The redesign launched with 20% of total traffic. Despite the conservative split, the marketing team confirmed: users on the new page uploaded their photos at a higher rate.

Photo upload is the highest-intent action in this funnel. It's not a passive click it's a commitment. That metric moved.
